If you’re in need of a letter for gender affirming surgery or hormones you’ve come to the right place.
As a member of the Gender Affirming Letter Access Project (GALAP) I am committed to reducing barriers that transgender and non-binary individuals face in accessing gender affirming and life-saving care. While I cannot guarantee that a provider or insurance company will accept your letter I am committed to working with you to ensure your desires for medical intervention and medical necessity are clear to providers.
I do not charge for writing letters or the assessment process needed to write a letter. If you are able to and would like to pay me, my standard rate is $150. The process typically involves a 1 hour assessment which is completed virtually. Following this meeting it typically takes between two to four weeks for me to complete the letter.
